Telus has released the Motoblur handset the Motorola Backflip! The phone features a unique reverse hinge keypad design with a Backtrack navigation pad on the reverse. The Backflip also has 3.1 HVGA capacitive display, 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, 512MB of internal memory, microSD support, and MOTOBLUR atop Android 1.5. But that’s not the interesting part of the story the best part involves the price- sadly guys the phone from Telus does not come anything close to the AT&T contract price of $99 bucks, The Telus website is saying on a 3 year contract the phone will cost you $249.99 (which they updated so now it says without a data plan it’ll cost $249.99..with data its $99), but regardless of all that..i’m still going to say we get jipped up here.
