What would you do if you could feel your phone become “excited”? That may seem somewhat creepy/ perverted, but this is all a part of a concept Fabian Hemmert is working on to push the limits of your mobile experience. This all began when Hemmert asked this very question: How can we move mobile phones out of the realm of digital and into the physical world? His concept involves making phones into shape-shifting devices- devices that would become more responsive to our senses, and phones that could make virtual experiences into physical ones.
So far the main prototype Hemmert is working on is that of the shape-shifting device that can shift its own weight around, he’s even going further than that, Hemmert is working on a concept phone that could mimic human emotion through something similar to a heartbeat and breathing.
