I’m writing this post for you guys it’s dedicated to touch, which I’m pretty sure you’re all fans of. Immersion is a company that has worked to transform your mobile experience, and bring “communication to life”. In the tech dependent age we have made gains, and yet we have losses, and if you’re wondering what we’ve lost I’m referring to everything that is “touchy, feely” this is what Immersion has been working on in their technologies- to bring touch and intimacy back to the user. Immersions technologies are reported to be in over 100 million handsets from makers like: Samsung, LG and Nokia, and hopes the latest developments in their technologies will allow developers/ manufactueres to provide more “sensory feedback to how we use our phones in the future”. Immersion’s TouchSense 5000 solution takes haptics to a new level of fidelity by enabling high-definition haptic effects”, a spokeswomen for the company told Pocket-lint. “That allows us to increase range, strength and precision”.
Anyway when a user uses haptics, it can convince them that they are actually touching a full, old-fashioned typewriter for one example btw, haptics will take touch on your mobile device to another level. The new technology will be in handsets sometime next year.
